All of my life, I have LOVED animals. So much that I wanted to be a Veterinarian...until I realized that it would make me way too sad everyday so see hurt and sick furry friends daily.
One thing that it pertinent information...I AM A CAT LADY (hence the adorable logo, and my name...KAT). However, it's important to know that it's not exclusively cats that are so important to me. For heaven's sake, I tried to hug an opossum at one point, spent hours upon hours trying to convince a chipmunk to eat out of my hand, cuddled with an armadillo and had pet lizards as a kid (Herby).
Important to note...
I never had horses...as I tell people, "I grew up on a lake, not a horse." My husband is the opposite of that. We are both creatures of the outdoors, but is such different ways!
I grew up shooting guns, hunting and water skiing...Austin grew up horseback roping and riding (and he's DANG good at it). However, since we have married, I have made a concerted effort to feel comfortable around horses. I can even ride now - not well, but I can ride!
